High school is when faith stops being something you inherited and starts becoming something you own—or walk away from.
We get it. You’ve got questions. Maybe you’re not sure what you believe anymore. Maybe church feels irrelevant to your actual life. Maybe you just want to be around people who won’t judge you for being honest.
That’s exactly why High School Ministry exists.
This isn’t about having all the answers or pretending everything’s fine. It’s about finding a community of people who are on the same journey—figuring out what it means to follow Jesus when life gets complicated, when faith feels hard, and when the world keeps throwing new challenges your way.
You don’t have to have it all together. You just have to show up.
Sunday Nights
5:00 – 7:00 PM

City Grace Church
Check in at the Kids Ministry building (305 Ave C, across from the chapel)
Perfect for:
9th–12th graders looking for community, friendship, and a place to grow in faith. Whether you’ve been coming to City Grace your whole life or you’re checking things out for the first time, you’re welcome here.
A Typical Sunday Night
Two hours. No boring lectures. Just real community with people your age.
Hang Out
Doors open at 5. Catch up with friends and play some games. This is your time to just be yourself and connect with others.
Fun & Games
We don’t take ourselves too seriously. Expect competitions, challenges, and the kind of ridiculous fun that makes Sunday nights the highlight of your week.
Real Talk
We dig into Scripture and topics that actually matter to your life. Faith, doubt, relationships, purpose, identity—nothing’s off limits. Questions are encouraged.
Food
Obviously. You can’t have a good hang without dinner. We’ve got you covered.
Safety & Security
We take your student’s safety seriously. Here’s what you can expect:
Secure Check-In
Every student checks in when they arrive into our Planning Center Check-In system. High school students will check themselves out at 7pm.
Background-Checked Leaders
All of our adult volunteers have passed thorough background checks. We maintain a safe ratio of adults to students at all times.
Parent Communication
We’ll contact you immediately if there’s ever an issue. You’re trusting us with your teenager—we don’t take that lightly.
Quarterly Fun Event
Our volunteers love to throw a quarterly fun event for the High School Youth so please keep an eye on the events page so you know when the next one is coming up! This is a great opportunity for students to invite a friend and for our leaders to build deeper friendships with the students in a fun and engaging way.

You don’t need to sign up or do anything special. Just show up at 5 PM this Sunday. We’ll handle the rest.
